Transition of Forgiveness

These are times of transition, and if you follow astrology you know that today Mercury goes retrograde through November 26.  It is also election day in the United States, and for me personally yesterday marked the 8 year anniversary of the death of the man I married, had a son with, and spent almost 20 years with in good times and in bad.  There were wonderfully blessed moments in our lifetime together, and times of turning inward and redefining our relationship.  We weathered those events together, not always with grace, but we were in love still on November 5, 2004 when he was called to return to another dimension, whatever you personally might call it doesn’t matter, he is gone from this Earth in his physical form.  However, I can still call on his soul to protect our son, and ask for guidance and support during these times of transition, which I do almost daily.

It was not always this way for me.  I was angry with him, angry for leaving me with a young child to care for, angry at how he left us financially, and angry with him for choosing to leave when he did for he could have looked after his health.  After a measure of grieving and healing time, I now know that he was being called, called home to be with his mother and father, reconnecting and contemplating his soul’s journey.  He has one most undoubtedly, a big one for how he left this time.  Most importantly,  I have come to feel in my heart that he is sorry.  I also forgive him for all of it, for my soul too made a contract for this encounter, and I forgive myself as well.

Forgiveness is a big concept; one that many of us have cannot get clear on.  We need to do the work in order for our own soul to be free and live in peace.  It is imperative that we collectively do this work now, for now is all we have at any rate, but more importantly our Earth is shifting and we should get clear before it makes its big transit.  This is the work we have come to do, to bring in love and light and shine it forth into the world.

It is not easy!   Last night I watched a video of people from one of the swing states in this country who were on a certain political side and it evoked a sadness in me listening to them speak with such anger, hatred, and fear. Fear will polarize us from making changes, from forgiving those we perceive have wronged us, or to desire a new forward direction.  I came right to the work for myself in that moment as the first emotion that arose while watching was anger.  Why should I be angry with these people?  We are a nation based on freedom, and they are entitled to their beliefs, just as I am.  What is important is that I forgive them and forgive myself for my beliefs and instead send out love into the universe,  pure unbridled love.  It is love that is going to bring us all together, and that is where we are headed, toward a brighter light.  The journey to get there is going to be work, however, and we are once again entering a time of being called to pay attention, as Mercury turns retrograde.  Do the work, be aware of yourself, of forgiveness, and let go of FEAR.

We are going to wake up tomorrow and this country will have done the right thing, we will continue to go forward.   There will be those who are disappointed, angry and full of FEAR, and it will be our job to hold them in forgiveness, with love and light.  It will be work, and like the grieving and healing process I have personally had to walk in order to get to the forgiveness, but we can do it and we must in order to be united with love.  Try forgiving one person today because it originates with you and manifest positive thoughts for the future of not only our country, but also the world!

Only as a warrior can one withstand the path of knowledge. A warrior cannot complain or regret anything. His life is an endless challenge, and challenges cannot possibly be good or bad.Challenges are simply challenges.

  1. I have watched a great deal of fear and anger coming from both sides.
Tomorrow, some people will be happy and some people will be sad.
Because, the right thing is a matter of perception.
Time moves forward, this is true.
    What will be, will be.
