We cultivate love when we allow our most vulnerable and powerful selves to be deeply seen and known. ~ Brené Brown
As an adult, we all to often forget to allow the wonder of life’s beauty to enter our heart space, and ego takes over as we give rise to our fears. Fears can extinguish the sparkling synchronicity of our internal timing and lay waste to the perfection of our magnificent uniqueness. All people are born with their own sacred space that holds their own gifts, talents, and abilities. We need to let go of our inner pain and come back to our innocence, and the wisdom of the child that is the spirit of playfulness. It is from this place of new beginnings that all things become clear and filled with truth.
Some ways in which you can come back to this innocence are through physical fitness, the pure joy of using your body. When you develop the skill and grace that comes with play, this allows the body to rid itself of many tensions of the adult world. Playfulness is a way to trust yourself in order that you might walk in balance. Balance comes when you can destroy the illusion of who you are to others and be yourself. We show many faces of ourselves to others based upon what we want them to see to bring us approval and acceptance. In order to find our balance, we must look to the child within. The child within contains our original essence and this need not be altered for anyone. In fact, when we let our hearts shine in this fashion it acts as a gift to others so that they might drop their own masks of fear and see that they also hold the beauty of their inner child.
Stop holding on so tightly and remember how to trust. The wonder of life is always alive in those who replace their fears with trust, reclaiming the magic of their inner child. Today, surround yourself with the color red, the color of faith, and go out and do something fun. Laugh, run, dance in the street, skip like you did when you were a child, and have no fears but only love and joy flowing from your heart.
