Every day the world will drag you by the hand yelling, this is important and that is important! You need to worry about this, and this, and this! And each day it is up to you to yank your hand back, put it on your heart and say, no, this is important!
How many times do we come to our own table exhausted from the pull of energies from others? We live a frenetic pace in this 21st Century. We are never alone and always seem to have our cell phones, computers, televisions, and more at our fingertips. We are never alone even when we venture out into the wilderness, most often taking some of these 21st Century conveniences along with us on our journey, whether it is to capture the journey in photographs and or to have the guidance of a GPS system. We are never alone.
The healers and light workers of us are always showing up and the doing the work for others, care giving, listening, and lending a helping hand. What we often forget is to lend ourselves a helping hand by slowing down. Having been called on the carpet myself lately for just these very things, I can speak to this. Running and doing for everyone, and not taking care of myself as much as I should have been I was struck down to the couch for days, and believe me I do not like being so weak. My western medicine doctor laughed at me and said my body demanded that I stop pushing so hard.
What can any of us learn from moments like this? It is good to show up for others, but never forget that sometimes you just have to follow your own instincts and slow down, say no and follow your heart. Place your hand on your heart and say, no, this is what is important in this moment in time. Tonight is a waning crescent moon and the perfect time to let go, surrender, release, establish some quiet time for contemplation and a time for incubation. Let go of your need to take care of everything, come back to center and take care of you. May blessings and goodness fill your soul!
Such an important message for each of us. Thankyou for your wisdom.
